+ Day 1 - Windhoek | Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel

The cosmopolitan city of Windhoek, the capital of the country, is situated in the heart of central Namibia.


Day Itinerary

When you arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport you are met by the car rental company representative who transfers you to Windhoek. Upon arrival at the car rental the friendly rental agent then takes you through the car rental contract as well as explain all the rental conditions. You are then conducted a thorough demonstration of the vehicle before you depart to your guesthouse in the city.

+ Day 2 - Etosha | Etosha Safari Lodge
Etosha

The location of the lodge is just 10 km away from the entrance to Etosha National Park’s Okaukuejo Camp. Visitors can catch a glimpse of a variety of wildlife including: lion, giraffe, elephant, white and black rhino, and a multitude of plains game.


Day Itinerary

After breakfast, departure from Windhoek and drive north towards Etosha National Park. Your lodge for the night is situated very close to the Anderson Gate that leads to the Okaukuejo Camp. Depart early from Windhoek to arrive early enough to game drive inside the park t this afternoon until the gate closes at sunset.

Situated on a hill with expansive views, this stylish lodge offers 65 chalets that provide a peaceful base from which to explore the animal bounty of Etosha National Park.

+ Day 3 - Etosha | Halali Rest Camp
Etosha

Etosha National Park offers a premier game viewing experience. The park’s diverse vegetation is perfect for attracting a variety of wildlife including large mammals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, zebra, giraffe, as well as a diversity of birdlife such as flamingos and pelicans. Located in the heart of the park is the Etosha Pan – a shallow depression that covers an area of 5000 square kilometres. During the dry season, the wildlife is attracted to the perennial springs and waterholes that makes for excellent game viewing. Visitors can look forward to world-class game viewing.


Day Itinerary

Today you drive into the heart of Etosha National Park to Halali where you are staying. The entire trip from the gate to Halali is a game drive as you encounter animals all along and can follow the marked game drive routes as well.
Tonight, the waterhole at Halali promises excellent game viewing at the floodlit waterhole teeming with nocturnal animals.

Strategically located halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni, Halali is situated at the base of a dolomite hill, amongst shady Mopane trees. A flood-lit waterhole viewed from an elevated vantage point provides exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the day and into the night.

+ Day 4 - Etosha | Onguma Forest Camp
Etosha

Onguma Game Reserve, located just east of Etosha and bordering Fisher’s Pan, is one of Namibia’s best-kept secrets. Onguma is home to over 34000 hectares of protected land scattered with a variety of wildlife including plains game, black rhino, kudu, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard and more than 300 bird species. Visitors can enjoy game drives, guided walks and rhino research drives within the private reserve as well as wildlife safaris into Etosha National Park to view abundant game in the largest national park in Namibia.


Day Itinerary

Today your journey through Etosha National Park continues towards the eastern gate. You game drive from Halali to Namutoni, the eastern most area of Etosha, where you exit the park and sleep at a lodge very close by. The waterhole at the lodge will provide more opportunities for game viewing on your last night at Etosha.

Onguma Forest Camp is located along the dry “Omuramba Owambo” riverbed. There is a swimming pool and a thatched bar, lounge and dining area that overlooks a small waterhole as well as a water-level hide which will provide hours of game viewing opportunities for guests.

+ Day 5 - Kavango | River Dance Lodge

The area surrounding the Okavango River is known for its lush vegetation, spectacular natural beauty, and abundant wildlife. It is home to 150 species of fish and supports over 400 species of bird, making it a popular fishing and birding destination. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of adventure opportunities in and around the river – jump on a scenic boat cruise, visit the many reserves which dot the region, and explore the enchanting views from the lodge which is set on the banks of the Okavango River.


Day Itinerary

Early breakfast and departure via Tsumeb to Rundu and further on to the little village of Divundu before you reach your lodge for the next two nights, nestled along the magical Okavango River.

The area surrounding the Kwando River is known for its protected game reserves, national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. It offers excellent game viewing with the perennial waters of the river attracting plentiful wildlife including large herds of elephant, hippos, crocodiles, red lechwe, turtles, zebra, impala, spotted-necked otters and over 400 species of bird.


Day Itinerary

Your journey ventures deep into the heart of the Zambezi region and you spend two nights on the banks of the Kwando River.

Camp Kwando is ideally located on the banks of the beautiful Kwando River in the Zambezi region. Guests can enjoy game drives, boat trips, fishing, birding and visiting traditional villages and schools.

The Chobe River forms the northern boundary of the Chobe National Park which is known for its diverse and abundant game viewing opportunities. This section of the park is best known for its dense concentration of wildlife, including elephant and hippo populations, but the waters attract all manner of game including large herds of buffalo and the lions that prey on them – a visit to the Chobe River Front guarantees close encounters with an array of African wildlife.


Day Itinerary

Continue to the edge of the Zambezi, formerly known as the Caprivi, to Chobe River Front, on the banks of the Chobe River.

Day Itinerary

Starting on your return journey back to central Namibia, you return to the Kwando area, this time to another cosy lodge on the riverbanks.

+ Day 12 - Kavango | Ndhovu Safari Lodge

The small village of Divundu is set roughly 200 kilometres east of Rundu on the south-eastern banks of the great Okavango River. Visitors can enjoy fishing or bird watching boat safaris, or visit the Mahango Game Park, which is home to herds of elephant as well as hippo, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, and many other animals.


Day Itinerary

On your return journey back, you once again stop in the Divundu area, but this time at the Ndhovu Lodge, a lush paradise on the banks of the Okavango River.

Ndhovu Safari Lodge is a peaceful riverine retreat overlooking the well-known Zambezi Game Park (Bwabwata National Park). Here guests can feel real close to crocodiles and hippos, relax in the sun on the deck or try catching the famous tiger fish.

+ Day 13 - Otjiwarongo | Otjiwa Safari Lodge

Otjiwa Safari Lodge is situated 40 kms south of Otjiwarongo, a perfect location from where to explore numerous attractions the area has to offer. The world-renowned Cheetah Conservation Fund is situated just outside Otjiwarongo and offers day tours for visitors curious to learn more about these cats of prey.

Your return journey takes you via the town of Otjiwarongo and your lodge for the last magical night in Namibia is situated just south of this bustling town. The lodge is an oasis and offers various activities to complete your Namibian adventure.
