Day Itinerary
When you arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport you are met by the car rental company representative who transfers you to Windhoek. Upon arrival at the car rental the friendly rental agent then takes you through the car rental contract as well as explain all the rental conditions. You are then conducted a thorough demonstration of the vehicle before you depart to your guesthouse in the city.
Accommodation: Villa VistaVilla Vista is an upmarket family friendly guesthouse situated in a quiet neighbourhood close to the Windhoek city centre.
Looking out over the garden, swimming pool, town, western mountains and afternoon sunsets, the open terrace offers a romantic and peaceful experience.

Situated in the desolate, awe-inspiring Namib Desert, between Usakos and Swakopmund, Spitzkoppe is a group of bald granite peaks forming one of Namibia’s most recognizable and dramatic landmarks. These enormous towering domes are a mecca for hikers and mountaineers, from beginners interested in guided historic walks to professional climbers seeking an adrenaline boost.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you depart to your first destination at the foot of the Spitzkoppe Mountains.
Take a beautiful and scenic hike up the 3rd highest mountain at Spitzkoppe with an experienced Trails Guide and quench your thirst with bottled water that is provided.
Duration: 3-4 hours.
The lodge is situated on the northern periphery of the Spitzkoppe inselberg, between ancient granite boulders, with breath-taking views onto the Brandberg and Erongo Mountains. The stylish, private accommodation consists of 15 spacious, tastefully furnished chalets, each with private bathroom and outside viewing deck, which connects the guest with the vast stretches of untouched sand and boulders beyond.

Situated in north-western Namibia, the Etosha National Park offers a premier game viewing experience. The park’s diverse vegetation ranges from dense bush to open plains attracting a variety of wildlife. Visitors can look forward to world-class game viewing including a variety of large mammals such as lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, zebra, giraffe, as well as a diversity of birdlife.
Day Itinerary
From Spitzkoppe, your journey today continues to Etosha National Park. You over night at Halali , the central camp inside Etosha National Park and one of the only places inside the park where you can also find a walking trail. The trail leads up to one of the only vantage points around the Etosha Pan.
Spend the afternoon doing the walking trail and the evening at the floodlit waterhole.
Strategically located halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni, Halali is situated at the base of a dolomite hill, amongst shady Mopane trees. A flood-lit waterhole viewed from an elevated vantage point provides exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the day and into the night.

Onguma Game Reserve is situated east of Etosha, bordering Fisher’s Pan, Onguma Game Reserve is one of Namibia’s best-kept secrets. Onguma Game Reserve features over 34000 hectares of protected land scattered with a variety of wildlife including plains game, black rhino, kudu, giraffe, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard and more than 300 bird species.
Day Itinerary
After breakfast, you game drive through the park to the east of Etosha where your home for the night, in Onguma Reserve. The game drive through the park takes several hours and allows you to view game all along this route.
Arrival in the afternoon to Onguma Bush Camp.
The lounge and dining areas at Onguma Bush Camp overlook a stunning waterhole that affords great opportunities to see nature at play around the clock. You don’t even have to leave the camp to see game – they come to you!

Mundulea Nature Reserve is situated just south of Etosha National Park, in the Otavi Mountains. It is renowned for its commitment to ‘restoration ecology’. You will encounter this natural wilderness face-to-face, in the real-time of the bush. Walking and hiking in this beautiful mountain landscape offers the ideal opportunity to get out of your vehicle and get close to nature.
Day Itinerary
Morning guided walking safari today in the Onguma Reserve. Also known as an interpretive bush walk which will bring you closer to nature and watch from a respectful distance the intimate lives of wild animals of the African bushveld. Activity duration is 2.5 hours (starting time 6am).
After leaving Etosha behind, it takes about 2 hours driving to the Mundulea Reserve, your home for the next three nights. You will be met there and transferred to the camp to begin your four-day encounter with the best that the bush has to offer.
Hidden away among weeping wattles and leadwood trees, you’ll stay in an enchantingly simple, beautifully crafted bush camp, recognised for its ecological integrity and small environmental footprint.
There are 4 spacious twin-bed tents, with en-suite bathrooms and large shaded stoeps (verandahs). To one side of the tents, adjoining pathways lead down to carefully constructed hides overlooking an attractive waterhole. On the other side, they lead to the bush kitchen, reading and dining areas. In the evenings, guests congregate around the fire, share a meal and enjoy the sights, sounds and stars of the bushveld.

The daytime is devoted to walking and hiking on trails which have been carefully designed to suit to the interests and abilities of various guests and range from gentle ambles through sloping savannah to rocky mountain climbs, and descents into canyons and gorges.
Usually, two walking trails are offered per day: one in the early morning of about 3-4 hours, and one in the late afternoon which lasts around 2-3 hours. In addition – or as an alternative – we spend time tracking and recording game at the waterholes or enjoying the vistas which stretch from Mundulea south across the Waterberg and eastwards into Bushmanland.

Day Itinerary
Your last morning at Mundelea has time enough for a last walking trail before you depart back to Windhoek for your last night in Namibia.
Drive back to Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja and drop your rental car at the depot. You are transferred to your guesthouse surrounded by old shade trees in the heart of the city.
Windhoek Gardens Boutique Hotel is located 5 minutes away from the centre of Windhoek, making it a perfect mix of convenience and practicality.
